Description:

Mezlocillin sodium is a kind of highly effective benzimidazole penicillin antibiotics, which is difficult to

be absorbed from gastrointestinal tract. The antibacterial activity of this product is similar to that of carboxybenzylpenicillin,

but its scope of action is wider and its antibacterial spectrum is wider than that of natural penicillin. Mezlocillin is a kind

of acyl penicillin derivative, which is administered through the intestine. It has bactericidal effect in large dose.

The antibacterial spectrum of mezlocillin is basically the same as that of ampicillin and carboxybenzylpenicillin.
