Cefoperazone sodium CAS 62893-20-3

Description:

Cefoperazone sodium is a broad-spectrum bactericide. Its antibacterial performance is similar to that of cefotaxime,

and its effect on Gram-positive bacteria is weak. It is only sensitive to hemolytic streptococcus and pneumococcus,

and sensitive to most Gram-negative bacteria. It has strong tolerance to β – lactamase, and its ability to induce

β – lactamase is very low, so it is not easy to induce bacterial resistance.

Application:

Cefoperazone is the third generation cephalosporin, which has good antibacterial effect on E.coli, Klebsiella, proteus,

Salmonella typhi, Shigella, Citrobacter and other Enterobacteriaceae and Pseudomonas aeruginosa, but has poor effect

on Enterobacter aerogenes, Enterobacter cloacae, Salmonella typhimurium and Acinetobacter. Influenza, Neisseria

gonorrhoeae and Neisseria meningitidis are highly sensitive to the chemical book. This product also has good effect

on each group of Streptococcus and pneumococcus. It only has moderate effect on Staphylococcus (methicillin sensitive

strain), and Enterococcus is resistant. Cefoperazone has good effect on most Gram-positive anaerobes and some

gram-negative anaerobes. Bacteroides fragilis is resistant to this product. The stability of cefoperazone to most

β – lactamases was poor. This product mainly inhibits the synthesis of bacterial cell wall.
