Propacetamol hydrochloride CAS 66532-86-3

Description:

Propipatamol hydrochloride is the precursor drug of paracetamol. It can be hydrolyzed by Plasma Esterase

to produce free paracetamol after being injected into human body by intravenous injection or intramuscular

injection. It overcomes the instability of paracetamol and plays the pharmacological functions of antipyretic

and analgesic. The analgesic effect of propatadamol hydrochloride is similar to that of opioids, but it has no

central nervous system inhibition, so it will not cause adverse reactions such as respiratory inhibition, cardiac

vomiting and other adverse reactions. It has the characteristics of non addictive and efficient analgesia. As a

new type of non steroidal antipyretic and analgesic drug, its mechanism of action is different from that of

traditional non steroidal drugs, and it has smaller renal adverse reactions The prescription of gastrointestinal

adverse reactions and blood effects is simple and safe. It is mainly used for symptomatic treatment of pain,

especially after surgery and cancer pain, without morphine dependence and recessiveness.

Application:

Acetaminophen, the hydrolysate of propatadamol hydrochloride, is an acetanilide analgesic. Its analgesic mechanism

is mainly to inhibit arachidonic acid metabolism, so as to inhibit the generation and release of endogenous pain causing

substances and produce analgesic effect. Some studies have shown that propipatamol hydrochloride is rapidly hydrolyzed

into free paracetamol by intravenous injection into the human body, which can easily pass through the blood-brain barrier,

selectively inhibit the central COX-3, inhibit the synthesis of central chemical Book prostaglandin, and produce the

analgesic effect similar to that of morphine. In recent years, it has been shown that p-acetaminophen can also be deacetylated

to form p-aminophenol, which can be combined with arachidonic acid to form AM404. AM404 may be a new metabolite of

paracetamol in the nervous system, which can play a role in the molecular target of pain and thermoregulation pathway,

and thus play an antipyretic and analgesic role.
