Drug profile: readcivir is a broad-spectrum antiviral drug developed by Gilead, an American pharmaceutical

company. This drug was originally developed for Ebola virus, but its effect is not so obvious. On the contrary,

in vitro and in vivo animal models, it has proved the activity of radcivir to mers and SARS virus pathogens.

The above two viruses are coronaviruses, similar to new coronavirus in structure, but whether radcivir will

show any clinical activity to new coronavirus is not clear.
