Hazards Identification

1.Ingestion: Unlikely to occur.

2.Inhalation:Vapors may cause dizziness or asphyxiation without warning.

3Skin:Contact with gas or liquefied gas may cause burns, severe injury and/or frostbite.

4.Eyes:Contact with gas or liquefied gas may cause burns, severe injury and/or frostbite.

5.Hazards:Containers may explode when heated. Ruptured cylinders may rocket.

First Aid Measures

1.Ingestion:Seek medical assistance.

2.Inhalation:Move victim to fresh air. Apply artificial respiration if victim is not breathing. Administer oxygen if breathing is difficult.

3.Skin:Remove and isolate contaminated clothing and shoes. In case of contact with liquefied gas, thaw frosted parts with lukewarm water.

4.Eyes:Flush with running water for at least 20 minutes.

Exposure Controls/Personal Protection

Personal Protection:Wear appropriate chemical protective clothing.

Respirators:Wear positive pressure self-contained breathing apparatus.
Fire Fighting Measures

Fire Fighting:Extinguish fire using agent suitable for type of surrounding fire. (Material itself does not burn or burns with difficulty.) Cool all affected containers with flooding quantities of water. Apply water from as far a distance as possible. Do not use water on material itself. Use water spray to knock-down vapors.

Fire Potential:May burn but does not ignite readily.

Accidental Release Measures

Small spills/leaks:Attempt to stop leak if without undue personnel hazard. Use water spray to knock-down vapors.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry location in a sealed container with adequate ventillation.

Handling

All chemicals should be considered hazardous. Avoid direct physical contact. Use appropriate, approved safety equipment. Untrained individuals should not handle this chemical or its container. Handling should occur in a chemical fume hood.
