Tetraethyl lead is a metal organic compound, its structure is a lead atom

and four ethyl molecules together.

Once widely used as additive tetraethyl lead in gasoline, in order to improve

surface of the water and gasoline breeding, thus cause bacterial growth in fuel system. Tetraethyl

lead toxicity, make its bactericidal properties, helps to prevent fuel pollution and caused oil

degradation bacteria growth. The compounds are commonly used in automobile gasoline additives,
