Technical performance

Can be in the process of making paint as solvent, filler, pigment and asphalt

tar dehydrating agent, such as the react with water to produce carbon dioxide

and toluene sulfonamide, the latter is usually not with alkyl isocyanate and aryl

isocyanate reaction, and dissolve in ordinary solvents. In addition, it will not lead

to system yellowing phenomenon. Through the use of TI in producing polyurethane

coating, system loss caused by wet surface light, yellowing and reaction phenomenon

such as foam were reduced.

Application field

TI as solvent, and filler, pigments such as dehydrating agent and effectively applied to

the wet curing one-component and conventional two-component polyurethane coating

system. In addition, TI can also be used as a stabilizer and butyl purification of double

isocyanate to prevent its deterioration or discoloration.

Additive amount

As wet curing one-component packaging stabilizer, TI should be add to the finished

products before canned, canned again after being completely degassing. In conventional

two-component polyurethane coating system, first the filling material and pigment dispersion

in solvent dehydration processing with TI, TI is recommended to add quantity for full formula

of 0.5 to 4% (from 0.05 to 0.3% humidity) effectively. In order to ensure the perfect dehydration

degassing effect, polyethylene alcohol and isocyanate should join after 24 hours. More amount of

TI will react with polyol, and thus should be calculated according to the system of humidity accurately

the content of TI required, in order to obtain the best effect. To remove the solvent of 1 g of water, need

12 g of TI in theory, practice has proved, however, an excess of TI is better, and in combination with 24 g

1 g of water to join TI effect is better, the solvent can be used after a few hours of processing time.

Safety instructions

This product has high reactivity, thus the application and operation should be especially careful. This

product with water, alcohol, amine, acid and alkali such as fast reaction, and therefore do not pour into

this kind of material in the product containers. Its reaction with 1 gram of water and the carbon dioxide

gas is 1.3 liters. Such as moisture into the container, in a very short time a large number of gas formation,

can cause the container, or not even closed container of burst.

Storage

This product is sensitive to moisture, should be in sealed, original packaging container, dry storage,

standardize storage, this product consignment period the shelf life of at least six months.
