Description:

Abidol is a dual effect anti influenza virus drug developed by the former Soviet Pharmaceutical Chemistry

Research Center, which can simultaneously fight influenza A and B caused by influenza virus, and has antiviral

activity against other respiratory virus infections. It was first listed in Russia in 1993 to prevent and treat

influenza and other acute respiratory virus infections. The latest research shows that abidol can effectively

inhibit the new pneumonia coronavirus.

Application:

Abidol is suitable for the prevention and treatment of influenza A, influenza B, acute viral respiratory infection

and severe acute respiratory syndrome in adults and children, including bronchitis and pneumonia. The use of

abidol hydrochloride in the early stage after the onset of influenza can significantly shorten the duration of the

disease and reduce the severity of the symptoms. It has a significant effect on improving the symptoms of influenza

patients, such as cough, headache, fever, chills, sweating, sore throat, muscle pain, chemical book and fatigue, and

it is safe and suitable for clinical application. Usage and dosage: 100mg / capsule, oral, 2 capsules per time for children

and adults over 13 years old, 1 capsule per time for children aged 6-12 years old, and 50mg per time for children aged

2-6 years old. Treatment: 3 times a day for 3-5 days. Prevention: take once every three days for three weeks in the

epidemic period of influenza; take once a day for two weeks in high-risk groups contacting patients.

On February 4, 2020, Li Lanjuan, academician of Chinese Academy of engineering and member of the high level expert

group of the national health and Health Commission, said that according to the preliminary test, in vitro cell experiments

showed that abidol at 10-30 micromolar concentration, compared with the untreated control group, could effectively inhibit

the coronary virus up to 60 times, and significantly inhibit the pathological effect of the virus on cells.
